Biography
Dr. Ajith Prasanna Kannangara, M.B.B.S ; M.D., Consultant Dermatologist,Specialist in Anti-aging medicine and Cosmetic dermatology currently attached to the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka.He obtained his M.B.B.S from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and M.D from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Dr. Kannangara has got National Skin Centre Fellowship from Singapore and post doctoral International Dermatology Fellowship from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Centre, North Carolina, USA. He also obtained Diploma from American Academy of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Kannangara also serves as editor and reviewer for various national and international Journals. His research papers are published in most renowned national and international journals of Dermatology. He is one of the pioneer of propose classification of Cutaneous Reactions of - Koebner, Wolf isotopic, Renbok, Koebner nonreaction, isotopic nonreaction, Immuno Compromised District & other related phenomenon and introducing the concept of Sparing phenomena.
